Great post! I once read a poem by Vijay Singh Shahiri:

I shall remember forever and will never forget 
Monday: my money was taken.
Tuesday: names called.
Wednesday: my uniform torn.
Thursday:my body pouring with blood.
Friday: it’s ended.
Saturday: freedom.

This is from the last page of the diary he kept. He was 13 and on Saturday he hung himself.

How, from a childs perspective, could one respond rationally to irrational behaviour? Would a conversation not be doomed to fail?</description>
